So when you're feeling stressed or down and a bit shit, the last thing on your mind is usually sex. But there's some studies that show that sex can actually benefit your mental health.

So sex can help you to relax and take your mind off everyday worries and anxieties. Having sexual intercourse can trigger the release of the feel good hormones endorphins and oxytocin and it can not only help with enjoying yourself and intimacy but can also help you to destress and keep depression away.


Self esteem
